We all have our ups & downs. We all get that feeling where the variances in life are too heavy, we can’t focus on our studies or on our business endeavors. It could be that we aren’t able to pass a course, or maybe we have some human relationship problem (family, relationship, among others). When having a plethora of problems it could be hard for us to reach our goals and we usually go astray. For me I was lucky enough that my best friend guided me with a book that really changed my life, the last lecture by Randy Pausch. Some people might say it isn’t really so beneficial and has no business teachings. Yet, it gives  a surge of positivism and goal clarity that could be seen as contagious.

The book was written by Randy Pausch a computer science professor who was diagnosed with stage three pancreatic cancer. He had only a short time to live and instead of staying in bed, he became more active and decided to narrate his life through a lecture called the last lecture (it can be found on youtube on the following link: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji5_MqicxSo). The lecture was a huge success and Randy decided to offer it with full details in a beautifully written book.

This beautiful art piece discusses his childhood, his education and his career. It further talks about his dreaming process & how he procured everything he ever dreamed to achieve. I advise everyone to at least watch the lecture as it will help you get through whatever hardship you are going through.

RIP Randy Pausch. Thank you for giving us hope and being the most positive influence.
